I will be confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

It is an interesting spot to be in the waiting, knowing what is ahead. I am still enjoying each day with Brighton and treasuring all of his little kicks and movements. There is a sense of naivety because I have never done this before, but it also feels great to know Jesus will be right with me.

I talked to Ann again and she had such a great perspective to offer me. When she was going into Ember’s birth, she said she just had to hold the entire experience out to God with open hands and whatever happened, she knew God was right in the midst and orchestrating for the best.

March 30, 2022
I had my 33 week appointment today for Brighton with Susan. Lassen went with me again and my blood pressure was good thankfully. I don’t know what his heartbeat was but it was strong and Susan said I feel heavy down low so that very well could be his butt, which would be good and seems like what everyone is hoping for. She thinks that since we have made it this far, I still have a good chance of going full term on my own. Jesus, You are in control.

Lassen and I got some pretty terrible donuts from Dunkin to celebrate another miracle of a good appointment and then went to the library to play.

I have the best friends

How could I not get some sun on my belly when it's this warm in March!?

I made beaded bracelets with Lassen and Brighton’s names on them for myself and my mom. I finished Brighton’s height board with all of the paint details. Lassen said Brighton’s name for the first time! We also made our first down payment for our new home! All good things today. Thank You Lord for providing.
